Actually we're not being pedantic, its shallow and pedantic as well as patronising do you know what that means?
Lol I was wondering if someone would pick up on that, can't beat a bit of Family Guy although disappointed theres no more greased up deaf guy.
**** I've just got that and it would have been amusing had I had the slightest bit of wit about me reading that lol.
The question was "what do non OF fans think about it?" so, as a Watford fan who lives in London, here goes: obviously things happened last season that were beyond the boundaries of ahwt anyone could find acceptable. However, I think it's a bit simplistic to pin it solely on the clubs as the guys sending bullets and bombs are clearly mentally insane. Most clubs have luntaic fans and we donlt suddenly start rushing in legislation. Some of the sings are pretty nasty but I ask you this - are the sectarian songs really any worse than singing about Hillsborough, Hesysel, Ibrixox, Munich, leeds fans getting killed in Istanbul, taunts about players handicapped children, the Holocaust etc etc. We get to hear all those subjects in song form down here. The singers should be thrown out of the stadium abnd banned but whether there is a need for legislation is, in my view, doubtful. More to the point, rushed legislation is bad legislation so to try and rush it in before the season starts is exceptionally foolhardy. Some of what happens in Scottish football is not particulalrly edifying - but it's no worse than what we see in England.
