Never seen him play, but he's been linked with some top teams, and won Charlton's player of the year despite only playing half a season

    I'd definitely take him

I would take him just to give Poyet another reason to stay up here, further cement the guy into the club.

Do you know his compo fee fella. I'd be very happy to have him if we can bring him in on our development squad budget. Can't be too much, Ince's tribunal fee was set hight because of a 1.5m fee for a 6 month loan but don't think anything like that happened with Poyet to raise the Tribunal fee, he shouldn't cost too much surely?

yes I have seen that too.

Our alleged transfer targets seem to be in a state of disarray.

I'm sure Gus will have other irons in the fire.

    The operative word.

Only people who know our targets for cerain are those at the club (and I'd imagine the targets & their clubs). Williams was a target apparently but never happened - he used us to get more money from Swansea (I think they'll be in or around the bottom three this season).

I'll be worried only if we get to the start of the season with nothing more than what we've got and Connor not having signed a contract. Until then I have no doubt that the club will be working to get players in

To be fair Gus did state he wasn't looking to sign him. Either or both Gus and Diego must share the extremely valid sentiments on here of keeping family and work separate.
