Nah it was rejected because it wasn't actually 25m. They bid something like 15m with weird add ons that would never happen. When they actually bid around 25m(26m I think) it was accepted.

 

Except this time we know they're about to come into a sizable amount of money from Catalunya.

 

It came from his agents. So I would say he is happy with it. Th Echo may be **** but they can't write articles like that if it was made up. They would get sued.

 

New shirt announced just in time for some new signings to show it off at St. Mary's. Lovely job.

 

Didn't Bournemouth basically release what we received for Lallana so they could say what they got for the 25%? From memory (at work so can't check) we got about 16m up front.

 

Haven't a clue what we got upfront. But the add ons aren't crazy like the first offer.

 

If Bournemouth got £4m then I guess £16m up front is correct.

 

There was some stuff going around that they accepted a lil less money to get the deal done tho. I haven't a clue if true.

A couple of things I will say about the kit. One, the stripes are back, and yes in a pretty good version. So often they can be buggered about with that I'd prefer plain, or the almost total elimination of the stripe, as in the pinstriped kit. Two, those different colour red hooped socks won't show up from a distance, so thank le god, the vomit bag can be put away for a season or two. Three, the shirt is not a tent. Hooray..! The era of excessive floppy shirts is gone and the better breathing materials era is finally realised. Four, black shorts without a hint-of-blue sheen. Now there's original. Not a bad job Saints. I'm sure all the 1950's orientated/wish-we-were-still-at-The-Dell-with-smelly-toilets will be happy and the more forward thinking among the masses will enjoy it too.

Well, it was real - Saints just managed to get a new kit made up in time so we didn't have to wear it.

 

I ment as in the real kit for next season.

 

Oh, not sure.

 

Would be nice, because I think he could be a class act over the next few years?
