That shirt was a actual shirt wanted by Cortese tho.

Looks just like the FP one to me,even down to the herring bone pattern in the stripes.
I think it's fine although some will find fault.

stevegrant indicating it was wanted as a parting shot at the club, rather than cortese's best effort.

don't know whether to believe that, but a yellow badge? who could be serious about that?

Stripes are too thin. I don't like it.

Well hopefully, if it was his best effort his sense of style would have to be questioned. <laugh>

Actually the herring bone bit is from the strip before the Liverpool kit. Basically, it's a combination of two previous kits.
I am ambivalent about the stripes. It's fine, in an underwhelming kind of way.
I can't imagine that this kit will generate the pages of opinion that the last two will. I kind of wanted them back, and now I am hoping that the next one is a bit more adventurous.

Well it's better then the kit that we could have got if it hadn't got changed.

Although the colours are different, the design of the two shirts (shape of the trims, width of the stripes etc.) is identical as far as I can tell.

I would've loved to spill more, but as you may have guessed, that photo was a tactical leak from SFC last night before today's planned launch.

It was Cortese's parting shot and arrived at St. Mary's shortly after Cortese had left the club.

Anyway, hopefully people like the kit and picked up the hints in this thread and in the off-topic thread last night.
