4-3-3...would that work without bringing in a marque striker?

At this present minute, I believe we won't get a marque striker, but the 3 that have been banged around in the tabs...

    Ngog, Ji and possibly Wickham.

If we do get these then there is NO way we can play 4-4-2 as these kind of players would be no good as first choice partners with Gyan.

I am now starting to think that perhaps if we get N'Zogbia, which I fully believe we will then our formation could be 4-3-3

Below is a mock team which we COULD possible have.

    Westwood

    Elmo?? Bramble Turner Bardsley

    Larssen Gibson Gardner

    N'Zogbia Gyan Sess

That 3 foward attack would be brilliant. Full of pace, flair and all can score. Now during the match if thats not working, we can chuck on another striker and move people around...plan B and C

You may notice no O'Shea and Brown....I am unsure if they will be coming to us, so left them out.
Also you notice no Cattermole, I have no idea where he would fit with the new CM we appear to be getting..

What do you all think? Could this possibly work?

O'Shea and Brown not being there is no problem - not sure they will come or if they are worth a start. (Well, perhaps O'Shea). Team looks good.

Why was I so worried and negative last week.

Arrgghh he mentioned the player that should not be named, and included him in a team..As ashley's shlong has said "no".

60k a week for a player who has no interest in playing for us (or he would have been here long ago)

No more teams including, the mythical figure of him who shall not be named please please. Everyday he is mentioned. Thread after thread.

Apart from him, your team looks ok.

    Westwood
    Bardsley Bramble Turner Richardson
    Larssen Cattermole Gardner Sess
    Gyan Welbeck

I just have a sneaky feeling Welbeck will be back and N'zog for me will not be in any team of mine until its announced on SAFC and I dont see it.

Is this my prefered team, no would like the full backs sorting.

Would I be concerned about this team, no.

Id love Wellbeck back, id also like to see a big target man up front to play alongside Gyan. Id also like to see us get another decent Centre back, because Turner and Bramble are injury prone, they also can get exposed against a pacy striker! If Bruce can pull off a couple more quality signings I think we have the makings of a good team!
