No. My sister owns a villa over there and we get to use it whenever we want basically, free of charge. So all we need to buy is flights and spending dosh. Not been all inclusive for ages. Always find that it's ok to start with but you get sick of the same ****e every few days.
Speedgate - especially Kim putting up an RIP thread for some old bird who died the same day and people getting narky about it
. I was a newbie and tended to be more on the Toon board but witnessed the meltdown on there, special mention for Ciaran's post (I think) "Goodnight sweet prince...".When I read it first I thought it was genuine
True enough, nice to get out and mix/eat with the locals.I did half board in Sicily which wasn't bad but you're on holidays so I like to eat when I want or not in some cases and not feel the guilt of paying for something you don't particularly. Now that view might change next week when I have to fend for myself but as long as I have some breakfast that'll do.
It makes sense with families but for the sophisticated diner not so much! To quote Henry Ford "you can have anything your heart desires as long as it's chips"
It doesn't seem to happen now but the invasions of the forum whenever someone said something nasty about certain football teams were always good fun.
I've been all inclusive 3 times and spent a few days visiting local places... 4 star plus all inclusive are magic for drinking and eating but even after a few days I take a break away from hotel...sometimes for lunch or dinner. So, you mix it up a bit ... Best if both worlds with her bevvy taken care of.
Why would you go on holiday and tie yourself down to your hotels meal times? I always go all inclusive . I also don't mind missing a dinner and paying for it elsewhere .
I'm a frugal person. I wouldn't go all inclusive if I knew I intended to eat **** all of the hotels ****ey food.
See that's the thing .. When I book a holiday I don't know what I am going to be doing . I always hire a car and like to explore . Even so , I would get really pissed off eating the same stuff in the same place every night.
