Lucas is a tough one really, I don't see a future for him in our starting 11 any more and even as a sub I wouldn't be thrilled if he rushed onto the pitch - I don't think he offers much more to his game than being a good CDM and since his injury he's been sloppy. But saying that I would be disappointed with anything less than 10/15 million. He's a loyal player, good for team moral I bet, and he's still a good, but not great, midfielder.
Thinking as a player, if I were lucas, I would have a good look at the Italian league. He would be awesome there. Don't think he can quite keep up now with the prem and his injuries aren't going away. Think Can is the end for Lucas or someone in that midfield.

I think Southampton should do what we did with Suarez if true, keep him separate from the squad, and unless we stump up the cash they ask for he's still a saints player. They can't need the money at all now so **** him. As for if he eventually comes to us, all players get a clean slate when they join, we'll deal with **** if it happens when with us.
Thought Lovren came for a trial with us last year and then did a quick bunk off to Southampton. If he really wanted to play for us he should have come then when he had the chance. Think his attitude is questionable I would leave well alone esp at the prices mentioned
