I agree with Nozzer. If Sanchez doesn't want to come, then forcing him to is pointless and counter-productive. I'm sure all the problems outlined by people on here have also occurred to our management. But whilst it's easy for us to identify potential new players it's an entirely different thing for them to go out and get the right ones.
Not really, don't you just scroll down the list of names and then press "A" on the amount you want to offer and then sign the player? Picking players with higher numbers is always the better option... #Fifatransfers

Both teams look good. Would take: Aurier over Flanagan (good back up though), Skrtel over Lovren, Shaquiri over Firmino and have no preference about Rodriguez/Moreno, as both would be great signings!
i know we had a statement yesterday fro the saints but what do we make of this? Dejan Lovren will try to force through a move to Liverpool by not showing up to pre-season training but Southampton are standing firm. Saints are desperate to hang on to the centre-back and not lose a third player to the Reds, following Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana's moves to Anfield already this summer. Well-placed local reports claim the Croatia international has no desire to play for the club again, however, and he wants to make the move to Liverpool - but Southampton are so far standing firm and do not want to sell. Lovren joined from Lyon 12 months ago for £8.5million and went on to establish himself as a quality member of Mauricio Pochettino's side but now the manager has gone and last season's starting XI decimated, Lovren wants out as well, even though he still has three years left on his contract. Southampton expect the centre-back to return for pre-season training at the end of the month but, as it stands, Lovren intends to stay away to try and force through a move to join up with Brendan Rodgers' squad. Liverpool have made at least two offers for him but have yet to match Saints' £20m valuation and, while they hope a deal can eventually be reached, Southampton officials are determined not to lose a third player to the Merseysiders at the moment. don't really want him that much but if rodgers does fine. i feel over priced... but.... i have to say ANYONE who refuses to turn up for preseason IMO has no place in pro football as its completely the wrong attitude
Agree with this. What if he comes to us for 2 seasons, really impresses and wants a move to Real or Barca - he will stitch us up with that **** too. If this is true then steer clear.
Feel for the Saints Fans... they've had the heart of their side ripped out and now this chap won't turnup to do what he's paid to do? He may be a good player and all that, but that attitude stinks, like yourself and MITO, this isn't the type of Character I'd want at my club.. I know Suarez did something similar at his first club in Holland, in order to push through his move to Ajax, but I was unaware of that until after we bought him.. I just ain't Cricket!

I agree that, if true, that's a poor and unprofessional attitude and that would make me very wary of him. Could be bollocks, though.
So any news on outgoings? Rumours were that BR looking to shift at least 7 players? - Borini is set to stay according to his agent a few days ago - Stoke don't appear willing to meet our valuation on Assaidi, even though they want him Aspas? Alberto? Kelly?....Enrique?
