Gotta have something about him, palace fans reckon he will do a good job for us. Lets wait and see. What worrys me is SC says he met him on holiday, and chucked a few tit bits at him. Did he not have his sights on a striker lined up prior to his holiday meet
You all know where holiday romances usually end up! Not quite what I was expecting but nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition.
Reminds me of us signing Harewood. Or Harebrain as my mate the Forest fan told me he was known by them. Has scored in the past at a higher level. Seen by the boss as a good type to have in the squad. Fans distinctly underwhelmed. Hoping it doesn't turn out the same way as Harewood was a total waste of money.
****s sake, Lets slaughter the bloke before he's even played a game.. Are all football fans like this? I bet most of you don't even know who he was..
Totally agree with Banksy. I don't particularly follow the prem league so although the name is vaguely familiar to me, I know nothing about the guy. Ok, he's 34 years old...so what? If Cotts thinks he is good enough for at least a seasons push at promotion then so be it...who are we to judge his decission before he even kicks a ball? Remember, we are Bristol City...a team that spent half of last term looking at L2...and the fact we have just signed a player from a prem outfit would probably have many other teams and fans drooling. Give the guy a chance is what I say.........I know I will!
Looking at this thread as a whole, it actually looks quite funny Why am I reminded of a group of characters from a CS Lewis novel ? We are like beans that have been shaken around in a pot for so long that we can't sit still If we do have success this season we may all die of shock
I was more pissed off with how the club built it up and dragged it out. It was announced at about 12pm that we would be signing a striker and it took them about 5 hours to get it sorted, but as I said yesterday when the BCFC Supporters Page brought it up to name and shame people... Bit ****ish ROD...
Those who sit on fences, never making decisions, are sad people with a common disease called splinteritis!
