Sorry guys but a soap opera is written by writers who know what they want to happen and that is what happens. If Saints were a leading soap character and they decided that we world the Champions League and we would. Wake up we aren't this is reality!
Because there are better options available to them than Spurs. MP was just the catalyst (and Lovren may go to Spurs).
Probably because they've gone to better sides and perhaps Mauricio doesn't rate them (apart from Shaw, I suspect).
or Spurs wouldnt pay such high fees. If anyone had said at the start of last season that we'd get over £50m for Adam and Luke we'd have laughed them off here.
OK, but reality sucks at times. Anyway, are you telling me that there is an objective reality? One to muse on for today.
From what I have heard, he is a great guy and a good friend, but prefers close mates to socialising. Just comes over rather dull in interviews. I love tennis so enjoy seeing a Brit do well. Disappointed with todays result as he looked so good in previous rounds.
Aw, Lamb..! That's a harsh assessment in my opinion. I think he's quite a human and feeling person. I saw extracts from the odd interview and he's a flawed chappie, there's no doubt, but he's not a superficial, empty headed guy. He thinks and considers things, and personally, I have changed my opinion of him. I used to think as you do, but I may I suggest you wipe the slate clean and give him another chance. He's OK.
You're right TSS, being a kid in the school when the Dunblane massacre happened has affected him emotionally, as it would do to anybody. It is noticeable that he points to the sky after he wins. He is always thoughtful and considered in his interviews, but I feel that he is never fully comfortable in expressing himself, which makes him appear miserable to some people.
He found Salmond in the Royal Box waving the Saltire when he won Wimbledon embarrassing. He said people forget I have been representing Britain since I was a kid.
