Dr Shak just pips ACS and Tasty mag to head the table after a sensational Sunday performance, claiming first seeding in the process after ACS had lead since the beginning. Roland just loses out having just not managed to claw back the deficit to Mr Pardew, who takes the 8th and final seeding. As usual, DMW has f**ked everything up by finishing on the same amount of points as Heed, but we'll figure some way around that .

I will process who between Heed and DMW had the highest number of perfect results to see who gets which seeding.

I shall now draw lots to decide which pairing gets which game. The astute among you will notice I have given you all colours. Basically, as the league keeps going and is integral to the game still, it would be helpful to me if those predicting for their quarter final game would highlight their prediction in the above colour, you will maintain this colour on advancing to the next round

Which means we can skip whatever the hell our token Mackem was invited to say, much to the chagrin of their sister, who was clearly hoping for five minutes incest-free-blacked-out-basement-fun, and tell you that Dr Shak and Mr Pardew will predict the outcome of the Netherlands vs Costa Rica.

The higher seeds from the table get first preference on scoreline prior to kick-off, and must add either FT or ET+PENS to their prediction. The lower seeded player is left with what is not picked. This means, for example, if Dr Shak predicts 3-1 to the Netherlands FT, and Mr Pardew picks 2-1 to the Netherlands, and it ends 1-0 etc, then we have something else to go on. So if the 1-0 occurred in FT (ie normal time), then Dr Shak would progress, if it ended in Extra time or pens, then Mr Pardew would progress.

The system;
1. Perfect scoreline takes precedence
2. If each player chooses a different team to win, then whichever user has picked the correct team goes through.
3. If there is no perfect score, and both players picked the same team to win, then it goes by FT/ET+Pens choice.

The league will be kept going, primarily so when top 8 players reach the semi's, the seeding for score preference and who picks FT/ET+Pens can be maintained, but also so people like me who should have got a bye for creating this ****ing game get some enjoyment out of it too.

Like I say, everyone can keep predicting for every match, the league stays up. When it comes to YOUR match, top 8 players, then please use the colour I gave you to specify your chosen score. Thanks guys, best of luck!

He is miles clear. Some daft bastard called Gustavo Pooyet (Team Name - Loads of Fingers) is clinging on like a winnet to 2nd place.

Just read JPF's earlier mumblings about colours. I picked out the exact same pink JPF,

 

I'm confused!!

Can I still predict on all scores? Your rules seem to suggest just the tie but ACS's forecasts and your comments seem to say I can.

Secondly ACS in his prediction has the score and then has ET but your highlight of his prediction has ET + PENS. Does that mean he wins if it either ends after ET or PENS and I just get full time? Assuming no-one gets a perfect score and we both pick the same team.

Or does that mean he wins if it ends after ET and PENS and I win if it ends at full time or ET but without PENS?

 

I want to know what happens if people predict the same score
