No you didn't. FM doesn't really work when you go very defensive. Against the better sides you always get mauled. And yes I think Saints players have the attributes to play 5-3-2. Need 2 good cbs though.

Yes, I did. I was managing Brazil against England (seriously), and owing to my preponderance of defensive mids and wingbacks, and the fact that I was drunk, I decided to save the game and play the final with a 10-0-0 to see what happened, with the intent of getting a cheap laugh out of the battering before reloading and playing it for real.

Instead, I won 1-0 on a penalty. Find the FM thread from a couple years ago on here and voila. This is because computer games are not real life, and 5-3-2 being excellent on FIFA owes largely to the fact that game engines deal really poorly with certain things.

 

I play 3-4-3 or 4-3-1-2 on FIFA because I'm a maniac.

 

I use 4-3-1-2 on FIFA too. On the FUT world cup thing, defend deep and counter with Suarez and Cavani

 

I don't want to judge either positively or negatively until I've seen any new signing play in a saints shirt, but can we give this guy a chance at least should we sign him?
Rickie Lambert's goalscoring record was only 67 goals from 279 appearances (worse than a goal in every 4 games, and most of that in League Two) if we exclude the prior two seasons to us signing him, and he turned out alright.

 

True, but his general play for Brovers was really good too. Pelle's is not, even the majority of Feyenoord fans wouldn't be sad to see him go. Of course everyone's going to give him a chance though, people aren't going to be booing him onto the pitch for his debut, but that doesn't mean people can't dislike the signing.

Have they got two legs and football boots. At the moment that is good enough for me.

 

not sure he'll be very motivated to play if we don't pay him something.
