for fun....." Maybe Next year" serious...." Kop a tea" smooth, elegant and you can add your own cream and sugar!
Haha, that's an idea. What we've been thinking of: "The Boot Room" - taken. "Shankly Gates" - taken. "Paisley Gates" - taken. "Paisley Fields" "Scouse Matters" "Scouse Ramblings" "Rafa's Goatee" "Scouse Musings" "Kop Ramblings" "Ring of Fire" Thoughts on those, guys?
Who knows, you could possibly see a well known Liverpool Article editor writing a few articles on that particular blog.
http://www.heartsfc.co.uk/articles/20110624/hearts-statement_2241384_2381659 Quite possibly one of the weirdest club statements ever. Your thoughts?
You'd have thought they'd find someone who could at least write coherent English. Anyone know the background to this?

Alright lads? I've got to do a presentation tomorrow. It's for a business plan I have thought of and i've got to do it in front of some people from Barclays and a couple of entrepreneurs. Anybody got any tips which would help me through it? Cheers!
I went on a presentation course once and they advised me to:- Keep your hands out of your pockets Don't gaze out of the window Make eye contact to all in the room and try not to stare at any one person. keep your chin up so your voice projects and is nice and clear to the back of the room, rather than looking down and mumbling. Remember that your audience actually want you to give them a good presentation That's all I remember of use, but they videod me before and after the course and I came across so much better using that advice (as well as other things). I thought it was good advice anyhow - is that what you're looking for?
Firstly, set out the agenda - what you are going to do and how you are going to do it i.e. Firstly I will do this, then that, then somethingelse, then present conclusions Secondly, lay out the ground rules eg I will take questions at the end of the presentation. (If anybody does interupt come back with "good question, hold that thought and we will return to it during the question time" (if it's a snorter then try and avoid it coming up again) Thidly, tell them why they are here and what you want them to do - otherwise your presentation could be assumed to be for info only. So "at the end of this presentation I would like you to come to a decision as to......." Throughout keep eye contact with everybody in the room (not all at the same time). You want to make them feel like you are talking directly to them. Talk slowly and confidently - firstly its YOUR time and YOU are in control. Even though you are not - appear confident because if you are not confident in what you are saying then why should they have confidence in you or your info. If you have handouts (charts, projected B&L a/c, etc) make sure you have enough copies for all present. If you are using a projector put th MAIN elements up and talk them through ONLY the main facts - DONT LET THEM START READING DURING YOUR PRESENTATION ( IF THEY ARE READING THEY ARE NOT LISTENING)
