There is not a cat in hells chance of daniel levy giving us 50 million for three players, 25m for bony and 25m for davies and vorm, can you really see that happening?
I ****in hope so ..lol... this money and our Premier League share will go a long way to building a super future regardless if we stay up . Gomis , Taylor and Tremmel will soften the blow before we spend a penny . We payed 15 million or so for these players , if true , we should bite his hand .. its just good business .
What is the point of £50m to us with the back bone of our team gone. ...We have money, we don't need to dismantle the team to put more money into the swelling bank account...
The truth is iF we got 50 million, and quickly enough to be able to buy quality replacements, then maybe, but levy will value all 3 players at about 30m and demand astupid price for gylfi.there is no need to become spurs's annual transfer saga, just tell him to get lost!
Whats wrong with Gomis and Fab , they are replacements and, Kingsley too even though Taylor will be the one who slots in .its free money imo . I dont believe the 50 million article but its an interesting choice to yea or nay .. cheers pembs
No!!! We don't need the money, but we do need the goals. Let them have Vorm + Davies for 25 million, and we'll keep Bony thank you very much. What would be the point of being the richest club in the Championship?
Pretty sure Bony is going to go camplonijack , regardless of what WE want . But even if he stays , are we going to change our game to please both Gomis and Bony playing at the same time .. although I think someone said Gomis can play right wing .
I don't think Spurs would pay anywhere near £50 million, but if they did we should take it. The way I see it is if you wouldn't pay £50 million for these players, then you think it's too much money. So if someone is offering too much money you always take it. It's just good business. You don't turn down fantastic deals just because you have money in the bank. You do the great deals and build your wealth. True in life, business and football. It's been shown in numerous experiments that people value things they own more highly. If you wouldn't offer £50 miilion to buy these, what you're really saying is you rather have £50 million than have the players (because probably you can find a better deal elsewhere). So reverse that and you now have he players. So it's still the same argument - you have a choice of the players or the cash. If you already said you prfer the cash, then you should sell. A player should be valued the same to buy or sell.
There is no way that Danny boy would shelve out for these 3 especially after last year. He uses the same BP garage as me so next time I see him queuing up for his coffee I'll ask him
It Will send out the wrong message to players here and clubs elsewhere IMO . We dont need to sell, for sure the Odd player is fine but when 3/4 first choice players go you cannot gaurentee the players coming in Will do any better. No bony = relegation. Plain and simple, with a dodgy defence goals Are Even more critical for us and if you sell the likes of michu and bony then it Will make a hard job Even harder, with 25 goals last season we scraped home, imagine what we would have done without that ? Ben we can replace. Vowrm we can replace(i Think) Bony ? Not so sure about.
