I don't really think that. But I do think that homosexuality is easier to hide than ethnic minority, hence it'd be better to get rid of racism
I think they're both equally bad. I disagree with your opinion that because homosexuality can be hidden, unlike race, it makes ridicule of it less serious.
Now you're putting words in my mouth. I never said homophobia was less serious, just that its easier for its victims to avoid the abuse, so if I had to choose between the 2, I'd get rid of racism. Plus it affects more people.
The highlighted part is the part where we are both getting confused. The way it's written suggests that you think it is OK for Homosexuals suffer in silence, which would be an inevitable outcome of not revealing that they're gay. Not revealing that they are gay would be the only way to avoid abuse.

You made out that not revealing their sexuality would be suffering. But I don't reveal mine, and I don't see that as painful. It's not complicated.
Yeah I was thinking that myself. It's a bit like saying what's worse Cancer or a brain tumour. I get your reasoning about one being something you can't change or hide but like others I'm not sure I agree with it. People that gte homophobic abuse would I am sure find it as hurtful as those who suffer from racism - at least my next door neighbour and his boyfriend get very upset when i stuck up a poster saying UNCLEAN on their gate..... You've created some debate but it just strikes me as a very strange question.
