He sounds like a cock, I don't want players using the club as a stepping stone. Nobody is bigger than the club, every single player should have this basic principle hammered into them.
I'm just very grateful that both the Allams and Bruce have done a marvelous job and most importantly are getting these signings in early, extremely beneficial and will give the lads more time to gel during preseason, January proved it, long and jelly hit the ground running. Come DDAY (transfer deadline) whilst a majority of the clubs in and around us are panicking, rushing in to quick buys before the season starts, we will all be sat back, relaxed and looking forward to what should be another season of improvement #UTT
**** me, at this point he's a top notch Championship player, virtually unproven Premier League player. You'd think we were talking to Maradona. Checking the facilities indeed. Cock!
Disappointing attitude, he must know he's not proven for a Chelsea etc to come in for him. Who else is there to sign for?? Bit of arrogance isnt a bad thing but, lets hope Brucey knocks him down a peg or two if he does sign
what he has done in the past aside . . . and still from behind my tiger print cushion , i dont see a lot wrong with Inces comments , he should preferably said nothing we all scoffed at Bendtner's view on himself but i for one would be happy with a confident n cocky midfielder in our squad - Bruce is too good a manager to let a primadonna get to far ahead of himself
I see what you mean then. He is a young kid though and if he can get an extra £5k a week I wouldn't blame him. It shows how far we have come when we are saying we wouldn't want a player like Ince.
He can use us as a stepping stone. In order to do that he is going to have to give 100% and prove he is capable of stepping up to Milan or someone. If he proves he is that good then it will do nothing but benefit us and not just on the field but financially as you dont sell someone to a top European club for 5 mill.
I wish he'd be a bit more careful where he stood for his interviews too... please log in to view this image
Some interesting comments on the Sky sports ince article; fred says 01/07/14 2:38pm This guy is the embodiment of everything wrong with English football: had a few good games with a 2nd tier club, had his agent and manager-daddy in his ear telling him how he "should be at the very top" with full pockets, believed every word of it, felt he was "a superstar" already, bigger than whichever club he is at, had no interest in putting his club (Blackpool) ahead of his own financial gains by going wherever he and his hangers-on could get the most money, strutting around England and Europe for "talks" with dozens of clubs as if he was a Messi-on-a-free, and then expects people to believe Hull was a better prospect than Milan or Monaco. Even Hull are too good for this joker. Liverpool had the sense to let him go and not bring him back, Spurs didn't want him, and no team in the top half of the EPL seems to think he would be a good addition to their squad. He wasn't even a regular for Palace. Tells you everything you need to know about the attitude & ability of this "superstar". spudgun says 01/07/14 1:31pm The biggest hype surrounding a player I've seen for years - what's he actually done at the top level, again? Saw a piece on SSN with him talking to Inter Milan, I need to be playing here, there, everywere. Turns out, he's going to Hull City. Reality is, he forced Blackpool's hand purely for financial gain, who loaned him to Palace last year, and after a bunch of over hype again, he made a couple of starts before being benched for the rest of the season. If he thinks he's going to walk in to a Hull team, with Elmohamady, plus Snodgrass in front of him he's mistaken - they've got a good, proven midfield at Hull now and he's going to have to pull his socks up to make the match day squad. navers says 01/07/14 2:08pm Despite him oddly rejecting a big team like Inter Milan, the Hull midfield of Ince, Livermore, Huddlestone and Snodgrass look pretty solid to provide for Jelavic and Long. Doesn't look bad on paper, does it?
FFS, give the kid a break. Steve Bruce would not be wasting his time if what you and others are saying is true.
Let's face it, none of us know the truth. It's all speculation. His words could just be him trying to give polite answers to dumb questions and not reveal too much to undermine his negotiations. Wait and see. Pre judging is wrong without facts. Talks are supposedly no where near advanced, so he is hardly going to say he dreams of the day he will play for use before they talk cash and his role in the first team. Does seem a right palaver though.
Lets face it, most questions asked to players are stupid. Ince should just have said he has come to try out the fish n chips and is poping over to Grimsby next.
Ince - just look who his Dad is.. He's a massive bell end, who's been whoring himself around numerous clubs for over a year. He thinks he's something he isn't.
Watched ince play u21s vers wales and run the show from start to finish! He will be a cracking addition.
Stop being a buncha fannies. If Brucie thinks he's worth a punt, that's good enough for me. If he's a young lad trying to get the best for himself, and to give himself a good career, well good luck to him. If he thinks Brucie is the man to help him develop, and the rest of the staff at the KC well thats a pretty good thing too. The only thing that should matter to us is how he acts and behaves and plays when he pulls on the black and amber. Judge him when he's playing for us, not because of media speculation over what he might or might not be up to.
