So it looks like we have another player coming in, and a creative one at that. I think he will be work in progress, but if anybody can get the best out of him its our Mick! http://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/25348/winger-stewart-undergoing-medical
I hope he's first team ready. At his age he's needs to play every week and I hope that he impresses enough in pre season to get in the team, providing the deal goes through of course.
Now Confirmed! 3 year deal. http://www.twtd.co.uk/ipswich-town-news/25349/town-confirm-stewart-signing
Walking in a Stewart Wonderland.... When did we last sing that! Welcome to Town Jordan Super Mick's transformation of our club continues!
Long gone are the days of the long drawn out sagas consisting on 'Will He?...Wont He?' No fooking about with Mick he just gets the deals done with minimal fuss! I didnt have a clue that Jordan Stewart was on the Radar and I'm pleasantly surprised. Town are having a great week... keep it up!
Mick has now signed 2 pacey wingers which is exactly what was needed. I cant wait to see them in action next season!
Who was that Hudds player we were linked with, get him in if he is still available, cant temember his name!!
I've just posted a thread on the Hull City board to get some of their thoughts on Cameron Stewart! So far they reckon that he is a quality player who has suffered with injury and hasn't fully lived up to his potential since! Mick will know how to get the best out of him!
It's Cameron Stewart..not Jordan! Potentially a very good signing - he's obviously work in progress, and if the coaches can get the best out of him, then happy days. Lets hope he actually plays, and doesn't warm the bench up.
I'm a little mixed on this one! His goal return is beyond bad, and quite a few fans have said he's never got back to his level after that bad injury suffered ( ironically against us... ) ! That said, he was subject to a £1.5 mill bid so can't be too shabby. Does have pace, and will at least offer balance to our midfield. When was the last time we had a BALANCED midfield!? I hope he doesn't join the Le Pen/ Civelli curse of LM at ITFC....!
A Hull supporting mate at work used the terms 'Loose Cannon' and 'Livewire' etc. as apparently he is a bit of a interesting character I haven't heard too much of those stories but I think the environment we now have at the club any disruptive influences will get short shrift and expected to get back into line or given the hook. See Chopra and now Taylor for examples. So in short, a positive and worthwhile risk on a player with talent and potential and giving him the opportunity to flourish in a settled environment. Good Signing
