Arsenal move for Debuchy

I'd be gutted to see him go but I'd understand from his point of view. I'd even understand from the clubs point of view if we were getting silly money and could stand a chance of replacing. I'd class £12 Million as silly money for Debuchey - but silly the wrong way round! We couldn't get anyone even half as good for that.

 

Really want him to stay. My fav player. He will be gone for sure tho. Good signing for Arsenal.

 

Why stop at 30m why not 100m where are you coming from, tell me if given 30m to spend would you want Pardew to sign a player of Debuchy's standard ?

 

The lads doing well in the world cup and won't want to stay at a club with no ambition so I see him going

 

Ideally I'd like Debuchy to stay but can see him going.
Get as much as we can for him and try and get Richards from City. Wouldn't mind Rodwell and, to a lesser extent, Sinclair from them too.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if Rodwell was the 14m man we baulked at. To be honest I'd have to agree with the club there if so.

However what we seem to fail to understand is that not every player in England is over priced. Yeah Ross McCormack being touted as a 10m man is comical. However there will be other examples this summe rof clubs picking up a bargain just like every other summer. Others like Ttrippier and Ings have been on the radar for ages but considered too risky. Now they are PL players, Burnley will jump up the price.

 

Can anyone start to see any reason my comments on selling our best players is like saying eggs is eggs. We are a low budget no frills operation. Football clubs don't make money from season tickets etc and in reality mike Ashley would not care if you attend he simply let's you go to his ground. It's pussy money what we provide he even told us all not long back. Spend your money elsewhere you fools perhaps retire early etc. Stop worshiping **** all you belong to nothing just death.

Some bloke on twitter yesterday with apparent inside knowledge (yeah right) claimed it was Hughes.

 

Probably just guess work. His comments suggest not Hughes though as he said "one of the players at our top clubs not in the side". 14m is a lot and I think it would have to be Rodwell really. Or Cleverley

 

Eh? Which Hughes? Will Hughes? The article claimed a top-6 club had a barely used player who they asked £14m for. All signs point to Rodwell or Richards.

 

It was some bull**** rumour mate I saw yesterday. Some w**ker talking out of his arse. I shouldn't have even mentioned it.

Now if (when) Debuchy leaves , we should really try to get Richards. Cleverley I'm really worried about as I could see us going for him and the board seeing him as some sort of horrific replacement for Cabaye.

 

Where's this £14m come from? Or is it just Pardew talk. Probably just made up "well, we're trying" ****e.

 

I wasn't aware of the £14m figure.
Sure I read a while back that they could be available for around £5m each.
If we can get those 2 and Cabella in for around the price of Debuchy then that would certainly lessen the blow..... he's probably my favourite player at the moment

 

If, IF we can get the money reinvested and the figures I've been seeing are true then I'd let Krul go £12m, painfully sacrifice Debuchy for £15-25m.

Now I appreciate that's a big turn over of players and also a lot of money for Ashley to spend so won't happen but it could only cost around £8m(ish) if any of those figures are realistic.

Would then just need a big strong powerful striker. Go big and get Lukaku but I'd still welcome Ba back as a cheaper alternative

Personally, I cant really disagree with Mick Quinn's article.

Don't particularly want him to go, but, if he doesn't get his move, you just know he'll be pissed off, go a huff, and spit his dummy out until he gets what he wants.
We'll then spend the whole transfer window and the next bitching on, and on about him.

 

If the club was ram like a football club then the only way MD would be sold was after his replacement was brought in.
I would sign Richards on a free
