Yes its good to see those rumours about Sanchez et al were just that, rumours. So far the management seems to be moving along the continuous path rather than doing a U turn. With these two and a wee bit more input from GT I think we have a sound foundation, just a few more bricks needed before the roof goes on.

Apparently this Woan character "and Guy (Whittingham) signed new contracts last season which showed how highly I thought of him" said Pompey manager. So he's walked out on a contract - do we still want this sort of character? <whistle>

Avaricious bastard. Nothing more, nothing less. Don't be fooled by this talk of "oh he's my best mate" / "it's good for my career" bullshit, this is sheer and utter greedy rapacious behaviour.

Looks like he was "released" from a contract with his club's support and goodwill. Refreshing when players and managers behave like that and seek the support of their club rather than tear their contract up in their employer's faces. Good on Woan - seems like a very honourable chap :) The sort we want

<laugh> No, Norway. Just one football coach moving from one club to another. Just like someone else we know?

Similar sort of appointment to Ardley really, so I'm reasonably happy.

Anyone know if he's expressed a desire to go into management one day? It seems like a fact of life nowadays that succeed of fail, a manager will leave Watford fairly quickly, so it's always worth looking a couple of years ahead.

Exactly - Cardiff were refused permission but MM did not accept it and so "forced" our hand. No club can successfully keep a manager who has signalled he wants to go

As you adopted this tone elsewhere let me ask if you are capable of understanding all of a sentence? Let me break it down for you:

"...the club allowed talks to take place."

andy whilst having a certain amount of sympathy with your viewpoint, and not wanting to upset anybody , but from what I have seen , you went kind of high handed first!
maybe you and Leo should just agree to differ eh!<ok>

Hello Norway. I really don't think I did. I have not made any personal remarks about Leonardo's 'capability to understand' (well I have now, but only to highlight his pomposity). I don't remember Lenny being as pompous as this on BBC 606. Is this his forum?
