    For a "tiny nation between two giants" they've done fantastically well on the world stage.

    I'm too lazy to do the maths but I'd be willing to bet they have more World Cups per capita than any other country on earth. They're doing something right!

    Absolutely! It is now! They have a smaller pool of talent to chose from. 3 million people- and yet- have over half the number of world cups a country like Brazil that has 200 million people has.

    For a country the size of Uruguay to have such a strong heritage is pretty impressive... not at all pathetic.
