I think the 0 was a typo! "Gaston will score 3 goals this season" looks much more likely

Harsh. I think he's on the ball a hell of a lot of the time and is one of the media who I pay attention to when they talk about ongoings at Saints.

 

He's not.

 

I think he let himself be used by Lallana too easily. A journalist should try to dig deeper than simply accepting easy tidbits. Also, no matter what he says about trying to be fair, there is a heavy level of cynicism when he posts about Saints.

I am wary of him.

 

Really? Because to my mind, everything he's said about Lallana has come to fruition.

Like a journalist would seriously turn down an England international asking him to communicate an exclusive on his behalf. Not a chance.

 

Blackmore was naive getting involved with the Lallana crap. But as DTLW who would turn it down? He is a good journo compared to many others.

 

I am not saying it was wrong. It was one-sided and clearly leverage to push his move. In my mind, he should have been more critical of that information - especially as he is a public ally funded figure.

Recently, he has commented that he "hopes" Reed honours his promise to use the money. That hope was only included to suggest he doesn't believe it.

Only my opinion, but I don't trust him or value his journalistic ethics.

 

I think he's actually a very good radio sports presenter, commentator, editor and journalist. He has to convey unhappy new sometimes, as far as Saints are concerned He is just as enthusiastic about conveying the good Saints news too.

 

So what was all that guff about phone calls not being returned? Lallana was working Blackmore with his foot. He allowed himself to be spun too easily, and lost a lot of credibility imo.

 

How do we know it's not true? I wouldn't think Blackmore took everything 100% at Adam's word and would have at least related his own experiences/understandings.

 

It may well have been true. Point is the spin he put on the allegations, as though Lallana had the right to complain about being disrespected, when in reality he was disrespecting the club.
