But he fell onto Chiellini's arm, so why has he apologised?

Because, if he had kept his mouth shut when Chiellini assaulted him by trying to elbow him in the face, it would have caused less bruising! <ok>

Probably should apolgise for everything hes done.

    3 known bites
    5 covered up bites
    Headbutted a ref at 16
    Racially abused a fellow footballer
Attempted to injure a player in holland
    Lie after lie after lie.

Apparently the 5 bites covered up are being investigated or already have been by fifa.

Why expect an apology, he's half scouse, so it never happens.

Juventus are still awaiting an apology form Liverpool FC for 1985, and are still waiting

Always the victim, never to blame. Nice one Luis, carry on with the tradition

    But he's right.

Suarez aplogised for "the physical result of a bite" not for biting. His apology reads as if he is saying "sorry that it looks like I bit you when we collided." He was probably told he had to apologise, but he didn't want to admit any wrongdoing.

As I said earlier, apologies from Liverpool just don't happen. And the Suarez "apology" is hardly sincere is it?
It is one of the main reasons Platini had a grudge against English clubs due to Liverpools fans actions in 1985. And which club got punished for it Everton!

Yes, Everton, whose fans had NEVER caused any problems in Europe.
As I said before "Always the victim, never to blame"

Yes, and humans have NEVER caused any problems on Pluto either. The fact that humans almost never make it to Pluto not withstanding.

Heysel was the straw that broke the camel's back. You may be too young to remember the 80's, but Britain in general had a terrible problem with hooliganism. Liverpool was no better and no worse than any other club. One of the most famous "firms" was Man Utd's Red Army. Liverpool didn't have any organized hooligan firms near the same size... although certainly had our own troublemakers.

That England was yet again involved in an incidence at Heysel, brought about the suspension.

Honestly, England as a whole did deserve a suspension- the 70's and 80's was a dark period for the English football fan and something had to be done.

I remember all to well Milk Sea etc. I was helping a friend building his house when the match was on, and we asked his wife was there any score, and her relpy was "havnt even kicked off yet, too busy fighting"

The sad thing was, Everton were champions that year, and were excluded because of Liverpool behavior. Platini was one of the Juventus players, and he has mentioned many times he, and Juventus, are still awaiting an apology from Liverpool FC. to the best of my knowledge, it never came.

Buit heyho, let's not get onto the subject of Liverpool's glorious past, it might just cause offence
