I have just bought another laptop.I thought about a Mac but i have nowhere to put it.Its like another tele FFS. I like the Macs but i could not bring myself to splash out a grand to look at pictures. As far as I tunes are concerned i have a jukebox and there is no beating that for sound out my 400 watts speakers
I work in a university so get an academic discount on Macs (-VAT I think), so whilst they're still more expensive than a PC, it's not that bad. Essentially, if you're a geek and are willing to spend time and effort, you could customise your PC and it would be great. I have neither the inclination nor the necessary knowledge. I'm currently using a 2 year old Macbook running OSX Leopard. I might upgrade to OS X Lion (I'll have to read up on it) when it comes out but at present, I'm perfectly happy.
Exactly. I used to be a windows user, but been on Mac for about 3 years. Never ever would i go back to the virus infested bollocks that is windows. Plus i have converted a few people to Mac and never met anyone that would return to windows once owning a Mac. Might be more expensive, but so worth it.
A PC doesn't have to run Windows. Macs are for women and children, and people who care about how slim their laptop is. If you had any idea you'd shut up right now

My PC costs about £600. I'm not a passionate Windows user, Linux is better in some ways, but Windows 7 ****s all over any Mac OS that I've ever used. You don't know enough about this to continue this conversation, give up

What do you mean? Shall I get technical? You have no ****ing clue. PCs outperform Macs in most ways, Apple are just good at marketing and the people that buy them are just suckers. If you had any knowledge of computers you'd know that. Now **** off I've got better things to do.
