    Does anyone reckon we might be delaying this until we actually announce a signing of our own? Losing the manager followed by 3 of our most important players is a huge morale crusher for supporters.

    that's the scenario I've been promoting...whether Liverpool will live with it I don't know. I imagine the following conversation:

    Reed: We have signed X, Y and Z. We are thrilled to have them. mumble, mumble

    Journo: Sorry, didn't catch the last bit.

    Reed: mumble, Lovren, mumble Morgan

    Journo: Sorry, still didn't catch it. You are saying that Lovren and Morgan are going to both play on the left.

    Reed: Alright, I admit it. Morgan and Lovren have both..... (fakes heart attack and leaves stage left in ambulance).

    - Koeman's first day
    - Koeman press conference
    - New training kit/possible kit reveal
    - Maybe even a signing or two


    So I imagine that's the plan. Get the **** out the way then start exciting/encouraging the people.
