Either way if he does sign, who would have ever thought a player would choose Hull City over Inter Milan?
Where have you heard this from? Bit of a conflict with what the rags suggest. Maybe they jumped the gun a little...
All of the rags seems to have us down as basically signed Snoddy, Dawson and Ince. If we have will we announce them all today?
Stop listening to your Dad, Thomas. Take the generous money on offer, play Premier League football, and be one of our main men.
I'm sure Snodgrass will be announced today and if Ince has signed then that'll probably be done at the same time. I don't even know if we've submitted a bid for Dawson yet, let alone had him in for talks.
Bristol Rovers have put they understand Santos is in talks with us on their official twitter. I wonder if there's bigger plans for him than just the development squad, he was a key part of their first team in league 2 last season I think. Bit strange for him to go from playing first team football to our pile of ****e development squad playing against the likes of Darlington under 12's.
Mad Mick has said that Creswell is available for the right price. He'd be a very good addition, I hope we're looking at him. West Brom seem to be favourites at the minute.
I think they have jumped the gun a little, though the fact that he's here suggests we're not miles apart.
Well they're probably going to be fringe players to keep us ticking over in the cup. I wouldn't have thought many players can make the leap from the bottom of League 2 to the Premier League and Europe in just one close season.
No, I don't think so either, but considering he was playing in the first team last season, and how ****e our development squads fixtures are, he must have been given assurances that he'll be used in the first team in drips and drabs here and there. He'd be far better served spending this year playing competitive football in the conference premier than in our development squad, he'd know that, so it does make me wonder...
The two levels are probably about the same, if he stays he'll face trips to places like Gateshead, Braintree and Chester. If he stays here, the games he plays in might not be great, but you'd like to think we offer better facilities, coaching staff and better players to learn from. But as you say, Brucey has probably told him he'll feature at some point in a first team game. I mean he might turn up and put 4 past Ferriby in pre season, so who knows?
If we do sign him, then maybe he will go out on loan to a club in a higher division than Bristol Rovers.
I thought that we needed some under twenty ones to bolster our Europa League numbers. Four games that he may been at the right level and then who knows who we will get.
That's what I'd have thought, probably keep him for the pre season and first half of the season to get him settled in, and then loan him out in Jan to a league 1 team
For the millionth time on this forum... They have to have spent two consecutive full seasons at the club to count as u21's, otherwise they have to be registered on the normal 25 man squad list.
They need to have trained at the club for a certain number of years, Europa League wise we're stuck with the squad we had before any transfers aren't we?!
