Not everyone would disagree with your post , he's a kid with a down to earth attitude with time on his side and has great potential.
I see Spurs want both Vorm and Davies as part of any deal for us getting Siggy. What do you guys think. I am happy for Vorm to move on but no way do i want to lose Davies.
I want cash for Vorm and Davies , our last chance to get big money for them so if its offered ....sold ... no thanks for Sig , they'll want to much coin imo ... still a bad taste left when he turned us down for limited minutes elswhere .
Rather not see anyone go but of the two then I'd rather keep Ben , his value can only rise and we're not exactly blessed with an abundance of PL standard left backs excluding Taylor and if he does want away then thats two to replace .I think all will be revealed when / if we sign DeGuzman ,Siggy would be an ideal replacement but we could get overloaded with quality players vying for 1? position
I agree regarding Siggy's price. He cost them £8.8m and hasn't been able to make himself a regular in 2 seasons. His price has gone down imo. I'd swap him for Vorm on his own. Might even go £2m and Vorm for Siggy. They can go **** themselves re: the insulting bid for Ben Davies
Davies 's wages are said to be a1000% higher if the deal is done .... now thats a ****in raise and a half ... lol
I'd be surprised if he was on less than £20k/week here and aven more surprised if they were paying him £200k/week wherever else. Sounds like vast exaggeration to me.
I doubt we want Vorm as we have Lloris so it's unrealistic to sign Vorm as backup keeper but I wouldn't complain if that happened! Am surprised at you accepting the Davies bid as while I haven't seen much of the player, it doesn't sound like he's demanding to move and if he's as good as you say then another year could potentially see his value double. But we desperately need a left back who can defend.
Like i have said previously that every paper media and blogger are all contradicting themselves and the only site to trust is the official swans site. You cant really trust what huw says either as he has previous of saying things that are not true. Who stays and who goes only the club and player will know and we don't have any say in the matter, It's best not to believe anything until it is officially announced be the club itself....
Looks like a done deal, so that's BD gone for £8 million. I read that BR would bid £6 million for Vorm. Hope we don't sell too many other players, although we still need to get rid of the dead wood. I suppose BD going to Spurs may mean a deal has been done or is close to being done for GS coming the other way.
So you say my friend! You know more about him then me but I'm reading conflicting opinions, although it appears some are giving him the benefit of the doubt because he is young. (worse case for us) Could end up that 8 million is too much (then you be laughing) and he could be worse then Danny Rose (if thats possible)!
Ii have to admit that I'd take a swap deal involving Ben and Gylfi as we need a replacement for Michu.
I would guess you have a good chance of re-signing Siggy but none of us know yet who Pochettino rates, in terms of the fringe players. Siggy never settled with us but scored some cracking goals last year (while doing nothing else all game).
Nothing concrete indicates BD is going to Spurs. All we have is a tweet by Levy saying he thinks £6M-£8M is a good deal. The fact he gives a range suggests he was told to **** off by Huw.
Possibly the two most stubborn chairmen in the league when it comes to transfers. Must get at least £10million for him and with Huws track record I trust him to get the best deal possible or walk away.
As it should be , we're not destitute so best price/deal Huw . If Ben goes does that mean the Board are confident that Taylor is staying ?
Taylor staying had to be in the bag or Davies would never be cut loose imo I read that he will make 10 times the wages he made with us .If true , how do the small fish deal with big bait being dangled in front of players.
