I thot Mexico were the better team. True, Holland were denied a definite penalty when Robben got double teamed, but his last minute dive in extra time was ****in ridiculous. The Mexicans were also denied a stone wall penalty in the first half when whit's his face, Piralta?, got kicked on the heid. The ****in Dutch ****s.
I only saw the highlights of the game a couple of hours ago, that Robben dive was an embarrassment - no referee should have been conned by that.
Had it gone on to 30 minutes extra the Dutch would have wilted. They pretty tame for most of the game and only threw everything at it in the last 10 minutes of regulation time. Seems to me they didny fancy extra time either. But, aye, it was last minute cheating that got them through.
Once Mexico scored, it was all the dutchies. Only one team was going to win that match after they equalized and it wasn't going to be the wetbacks.
I thought the Dutch were the better side throughout the game. Gotta take yer cap off to em. please log in to view this image
I thot the opposite. Particulalry 1st half. The Mexicans seemed content to sit back a bit in the 2nd half, and the Dutch only upped the ante in the last 10 or 15 minutes or so, and had to cheat to avoid the extra period.
I've got the Dutch in my Glasgow office and the Argies in the Edinburgh office sweepstakes... 100 quid if I win!
