...Kana-Biyik, Jimmy Briand, and Serge Aurier (again).

If my google translate is correct, then the article links us to all of the above. I think the suggestion is that the two in the title aren't that keen, though.

For those (including me) that were thinking we are quiet in the market. I have read that QPR have transmitted offers to Serge Aurier RB (1)&

    Byrne ‏@ByrneBarry · 53m
    (2) Pape Souaré LB of Lille. We have been chasing Jordan Ayew striker of Marseille.

    Barry Byrne ‏@ByrneBarry · 52m
(3/3) On top of this a rep of Jean Armel
Kanya Biyik central defender of Stade rennais has contacted harry directly. #QPR

The word is that our 2 targets that have had offers are not keen. #QPR "

Joey was mentioning the Ayew brothers from his time at Marseille, they made the Champion's League the previous season...

I seem to remember them looking pretty decent for Ghana in the group stage!
They're relatively highly sought after I think though, so would be unlikely to come to us?

We'll be struggling for players come January/February if we sign these.

Some players might see us as a stepping stone, a chance to show what they can do in the PL. If we're still paying silly wages we might land one or two, we're caught between the Devil and the deep blue sea in that respect...

    Ahh, ACON?
I can't see us buying too many French players really, it doesn't seem Harrys style.

I hear the Piranha brothers, Doug & Dinsdale, are still available? They would be good enforcers.

I don't want African players, leaving for the Acon every other year and the majority have a suspect temprament.

I'm glad they aren't keen, it means we aren't offering stupid wages.

Didnt Redknapp have a few Africans at Pompey?

Not too many goals in that bunch:-

Papa Bouba Diop 2007–2010 Portsmouth 53 app - 0 goals

    Sulley Muntari 2007–2008 Portsmouth 29 app - 4 goals

    Kevin-Prince Boateng 2009–2010 Portsmouth 22 app - 3 goals

Quite the pair at the WC - we certainly don't want that kind of nonsense in our dressing room.

Sulley Muntari, Kevin-Prince Boateng kicked off Ghana team
Star players suspended for final group-stage game

Both the Ayew brothers (if any of you didn't know) are the sons of Abedi Pele, former Marsielle striker (if you guys remember him from back in the 90's), both are very good players like thier dad, but I think would not even consider QPR. I think they would definately think they are destined for 'bigger clubbs'

Unless Joey convinces them that is !
Would love to have Andre Ayew as he is a very skillfull player

We're still linked with this Kana-Biyik centreback. "Player in advanced talks with QPR. 3 year contract €2.5mil. transfer":

    http://www.butfootballclub.fr/15789...ation-pour-la-piste-kana-biyik-stade-rennais/

Maybe Harry really is serious about playing 3 at the back?
    Here's a scouting report:

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...arget-troubled-defender-jean-armel-kana-biyik

    Translated bit from 1st link:
"On this issue, Saint-Etienne is however facing a tough competition from abroad ... and especially in England. According to our information from sources close to the matter, the former Le Havre is advanced with Queens Park Rangers promoted to the Premier League this season contact. There is even talk already of a three-year contract and compensation transfers € 2.5 million. The Greens will have to act quickly."
