Lots of people complaining that Dolly is lip synching.

 

I'll have to up my game for sure.

 

A tale up there with the time when my old man (a railway line manager) had to chase up some lost items for a woman.

She called saying she'd lost her bag and it had some important stuff in it. He said he needed more details so they could send the cleaners in to look for it, so what did it look like and what was inside. She said "tools of the trade".

Turns out she had a bag full of sex toys and various other things were in there too.

When she arrived to collect the bag, she looked a bit embarrassed.

I played in a hotly contested charity match between our office and our local rivals today. I only came on for the last 30 minutes, and with 10 minutes to go and it all to play for with the score tightly balanced at 13 - 1, I managed to grab our 14th to seal the deal

Now I find conspiracy theories terribly dull, and I'm generally quite relaxed normally about this kind of stuff - when people got in a kerfuffle because security services knew what you were up to online, my response was "really? You didn't think they could do that anyhow? Wow..."

Yes a lot of people rightly pissed about that one, seems to be on the whim of someone at Facebook rather than coming out of any actual Psych organisation. From whom it would have never been approved btw, on the grounds of no informed consent and blatant conflict of interest.




PS some conspiracy theories are really interesting! You can learn a lot about psychology, groupthink and the like. You have to stop before you headdesk though I guess.

 

Anyone know much about Apple computers on here? I've just bought one and was wondering what the situation with internet security was? As I download all music from torrents.

 

You could always try buying some music, then the artists might get some benefit from your listening to them. I'm sure LTL will back me up on that.

If you'd rather live in a musical landscape where the likes of David Bowie never made it, you go ahead and steal stuff.

 

I'm a 20 year old student without a job. I can barely afford my weeks meals yet alone paying £8-£12 for some songs.

 

I consider it sharing rather than stealing. Thanks for the old person opinion though.

 

File sharing can't be stopped and a war on it would be as pointless as the war on drugs. The music industry should see it as competition and fight it with innovation.
