I expect the club will be commemorating this somehow. Range of gifts, a dvd, T shirts, an open air party in West Park with live music, food, a big screen for the WC game etc.

just got back from an enjoyable afternoon in Hull City centre. Some good entertainment on today, not least of all the Hill Billy Troupe. No sign of this city's premiership football club on show anywhere. Another missed opportunity ?
There seems to be a 'conscious uncoupling' from the city by our current owners. Do they take the support for granted or have they abandoned Hull for the rugby ?
Maybe Curtis and Jake should have been there, dancing on stilts whilst dressed as William Wilberforce and Big Phil Larko respectively. Whilst wearing the new strip, another marketing chance missed by the Allams. Steve Bruce could have been dressed as a ring master gobbing off about how it was your last chance to buy your season ticket. Missed chance after missed chance.
Both FC and Rovers had the savvy to cash in on the crowds and events in Hull City Centre today by staging a superleague show with all the giveaways and photo opportunitys available for the kids.
What precisely are you doing to celebrate? Other than whining like a bitch on here? Organised a street party? Arranged a night in your local pub? No? Plastic.
No-one is suggesting that. But it wouldn't take much effort to have had the club's mascot on show, like the cities two rugby league clubs did, and maybe transfer some of the stock stagnating in the club shop to a part of town where thousands of people were gathering. # It was a missed opportunity.
I can accept that the players are all on holiday and that is the close season. On the other hand, it's our birthday, a COC2017 part with packed streets, and it's in the middle of our season pass acquisition campaign with many still undecided. Such aloofness and standoffishness from the club..... That or utter ignorance and apathy born of the belief that there is no real relationship between the city of Hull and the football club it represents.
So to clarify, it's ok that FC and KR once again take the opportunity to engage people while City miss it - and if someone on the Internet has a negative view on that they're a silly ****. Sigh. But of course the reason we can't fill our ground is the wages around here. That's it.
Isn't that like shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted, bit late as it was yesterday!! Missed opportunity
Ohhhhh I can't wait for that. Hopefully if its a live event in the real world and not online, more turn up for it than for your AGM. So, its our 110th year. The players are all away. The management are busy trying to entice new players to the club. Have any of you ****tards actually thought that maybe the club plans to do something later in the year, you know, when people aren't on holiday, and the seasons back under way? Too much to think about for you?
