Call up a youngster Fonte, ?, Kongolo and Stephens/ Turnbull.

the clue was possibly in the loan to swindon. we don't do loans but we possibly needed someone ready to be back up for this season so he went out for first team experience.

happier to throw stephens in now than if he was fresh out of the youth team.

I would prefer to play Chambers out of position rather than play Jos for 90% of the games, Turnbull and Stephens seem to have gone backwards so can not comment on them.

I think Jos asked for a move in the last window as he wasn't getting game time, but was told no...and like a good lad he accepted it. He may want a move now if he is facing another season of bench warming or worse.

I actually bumped in to Jos outside Tesco is Ocean Village just after the FA cup loss to Sunderland. He told me that 5-6 players wern't putting in any effort for the club and it was incredibly distressing for the players who actually take pride in their proffesion. Had no idea what he meant at the time but I think the mass exodus explains. Feel sorry for the guy as he is a genuine top bloke. Also, his missus <3.

Witsel signed for Zenit for over £30m two years ago, and has become a regular in the Belgian national team nice then, £14m is pie in the sky. He'd be an incredible signing and statement though. Having said that, even if all the players we expect to leave leave, the two central midfield spots are not areas I'd see as a priority - Victor, Cork, JWP, Davis and Reed will do fine for me, with better attacking options in front of them.

In terms of centre backs I can't see us letting Fonte go. Yoshida too will stay and I can easily see us signing a further 2, probably one who can also play left back (Indi/Kongolo?). I'd be delighted with that.

makes sense to me. Poch had checked out the moment cortese left, as mentioned lovren turned to poop a lot of the time.

Fan favourite ties up with what Guan 2.0 on SWF about a certain dickhead about to move to Liverpool.

Nah Guan was on about Lallana. Guan went on about a fans favorite that kept patting the badge. Guan basically said he didn't give a **** about Southampton.

Easy to slag off the players efforts now they're leaving. I thought we finished the season pretty well and I never saw a shortage of effort

Martins Indi going to Porto according to De Telegraaf. Shame.

Absolutely. Seems amazing that he's apparently going for 8.5m euros which is incredible value for a 22 year old who's a regular in the Dutch side. I'd like to think we could still entice him here.

Tbh watching him play in the WC he is rash as hell.
