BBC - Liverpool make bid for Lallana - Part II

Yes...that is not Shaw's agent! Shaw shares Bale's...

 

David Manasseh and Jonathan Barnett run Stellar Group - the agency to which Shaw, Lallana, Pochettino and Bale are all contracted with.

Apparently a couple of other Saints players also changed agency to sign with Stellar Group.

In fact, here's the two of them together - after completing Bale's switch:

A few Saints players signed over to this Stellar Group during their stay here and whilst Pochettino was here notably.

Obviously that'd mean that Stellar Group and Cortese had close ties and did business with each other pretty regularly.

Explains Poch and some players all siding with Cortese and saying it'd bring their positions into disrepute, should he leave.

As Cortese leaves, the agency loses all reason for close links to SFC - no more Cortese, perhaps Reed not as close with them or whatever reason.

Either way, agents don't need an excuse to try and sort a deal. They get their clients bigger/better clubs, as with Poch, Shaw and Lallana - poss Lovren too.

Agent gets a nice wedge out of it too. Seems to make sense to me?

Hoping this becomes reality and we don't spend 25/30m on a 26yr old slightly better than average squad player.

 

Wouldn't be suprising if they were scared off by it. 25m is a lot for a player who had heart surgery at 19! Another reason I am actually shocked Ads is wanting out.

 

He is a very good player, just not very popular on here atm

Lol. Even hating him as we do now he is better than Sterling will ever be. Hopefully he will now lose form though Remember Sterling has a good couple of months but Liverpool fans wanted him loaned out in the first half of last season.

 

Neville had Sterling over Lallana in his TOTY. Disagree with that, but Sterling, especially in the second half, had a good season.
