The sooner Hull go down and take Bruce with them the better. Nowt against Hull, personally, but I fed up to the back teeth of all this...
They do that don't they? It's like a brave little army of firefighters scouring the boards for the slightest spark to dampen down. They seem to believe they're safeguarding the proud name of Hull but just bore people into the ground.
Part and parcel of a multi club forum though innit. I mean lets be honest, the Hull lads have calmed down, we've had as many Hull wums on this thread as we've had from the welsh on the Gomis thread. Where as mid-season if you farted a noise that vaguely resembled the word Hull then we had a dozen of the ****ers cryin like biatches. We like football, we're going to talk about it, that will involve other clubs and when we mention them there's always going to be couple of sados pretending to be fire-fighters as smug aptly put it. Don't see what's to get fed up about. Think a lot of us have gotten soft since the Mags crawled back into their humble little holes. We need to toughen up, they might actually beat us next year and they won't hold back. Or we could go to one of the Sunderland only forums but that's just boring. There's never been anything remotely harmonic about this site, there was never anything harmonic about the old 606 site.
We've had it before with various clubs Sid and they usually exhaust themselves. Southampton posters were all over here until we knocked them out of the cup and their club imploded. Silence now. Hull beat us 3 times and got themselves all excited, revelled in our 'relegation' but shut up completely when we finished above them. TBF they are one our PL rivals and this is a valid thread as they have our ex-manager and ex-players. It tickles the childish side of me because of the hysterical way they laughed when we told them Bruce would engineer an end of season slump. They also mocked us when we said he'd bring in high priced highly paid average players and struggle in his 2nd PL season. Time will tell .......... they start playing in a few weeks and Europe could prove to be a millstone around their neck. Bruce will already be preparing his excuses, "Wuh got what wuh deserved in Slantanbratislavastan, wah backsides kicked."
100% spot on and yet there are still people who think he was a good manager. He was an appalling manager and Hull fans are about to experience the management by numbers style of the fat Geordie twat very soon. He thinks buying second rate footballers will keep Hull up? I'm having a tenner on them and Southampton bring bottom 3 next year.
Going to be one hell of a relegation battle this year. I have to include us but hopefully some good business and a good start will ease any worry. Us Newcastle Hull Leicester Burnley QPR Swansea Villa WBA W Ham Palace And possibly Southampton if the rebuild goes badly Could all be sucked into a relegation fight. The Premier League has never looked so poor to me. Will be an interesting transfer window that's for sure but probably won't be having a bet on relegation
irony at its best from a mo dyed in the wool supporter, dual standards or a memory lapse going on ,bruce or oneil ? press button B get your money back ...not
It's taking on the look of a 'Portsmouth' situation at Hull. They don't own the ground either, the owner seems at odds with the club & supporters and there's huge debt being loaded onto the club. The situation looks sustainable, if they stay up, but relegation could be an absolute disaster for them.
I reckon the crazy owner has got the hump over the name change I'd be quite worried if i were a hull fan, the blokes not right in the head
Read somewhere that their new badge hasn`t got any name on at all. No idea what the purpose of that is (spite possibly) but certainly won`t help relations any.
It's true, we're now called 1904, at least you'd think so if you were just looking at the badge. The badge itself actually looks quite retro, it's the reason it's come about that's put people off it, if we'd done it without the background of the name change bollocks, then people probably would have been quite happy(there's actually quite a few clubs that have no name on their badge). Dawson for £4m looks decent business to me and we've been linked with Ince all summer, but it doesn't seem to have progressed.
I reckon it`s a disgrace. He couldn`t change the name so he drops it altogether? Sounds vindictive to me. There`d be uproar here. Haven`t seen anything about your lot kicking off. What`s your local press got to say about it?
I didn't mention the Premier League, though obviously the last Premier League season had Norwich in it and they have no name on their badge, neither do Wolves, or several other clubs.
It is nothing more than vindictiveness, the bloke's a loon. Our local rag announced it like this - http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull-City-unveil-new-club-badge-drop/story-21264690-detail/story.html There's plenty kicking off here and the club are suffering, season ticket sales are running 6,000 behind last season and last season was our most successful ever. It's quite an achievement pissing off that many people.
You've got me raking through all the badges, wolves, norwich and wimbledon are the only ones i can see
Thats awfull ^ 6000 down with a european campaign, ****ing hell, that tells a story, any chance of him pissing off?
