5 goals in 45 appearances in his last season for us. Definitely past it.

Even just a top or just good player we'd be annoyed yes.

However knowing he'd not do it just makes it funny

If we stuck him on the right wing it would be hillarious, if we told him to stay in the penalty area and create havoc and score goals it could be interesting :emoticon-0116-evilg

Reality is he's so slow that to stay on side the only way he could do this is from set piece or via two wingers

In other words he ain't teddy sheringham and utd are not west ham and this is 2014..... His touch is woeful, his pace non existant and he couldn't run 2 years ago so work rate was dramatically reduced.. All in all yeah ideal for utd to take giggs place

My strategy would be to have him attempt to knobble utd players during training

Owen had already proved himself a traitorous ratbag twice so like Suarez his third offence was the last straw. Nobody goes between the two clubs and kuyt saw the treatment Owen got first hand

I would say kuyt would deserve about half the abuse Owen got but abuse none the less and removal from the Christmas card list etc

Very underestimated crosser of a ball, imo. Will benefit from having all his midweeks off.

One of the most ludicrous things I've ever read. D-amino acids was a leap and then = dinosaurs? Nutty. NASA chemist? Needs to stick to his hypothetical test tubes. <laugh> Hopefully, his quotes were taken out of context, although, when physicists and chemists talk biology, you never know!

  13. I'd say he needs to deal with his all things Liverpool obsession more

We did get the best out of him alright. I think he got his just desserts when we won the CL the following season after he went to Madrid, that must have been a kick in the bollocks for him

he was finished when he came to you lot. We just hate him for scoring that winner for you v City in the 1045th minute :D

I reckon they were well taken out of context, people have talks about what may be possible, scientifically shooting the **** as it were, and the fail then go and turn that into scientific news<laugh>

  16. I wouldn't give much of a **** tbh bar slight disappointment. Like Owen, he's gone directly from us and he's past his best too.

I'm sure it's just stupid journo crap.
    I like this quote:
This suggests that the author either thinks there were proto-humans around at the time of the KT Event, or that he thinks his readers are too thick to know that humans are mammals.

Then there's the lovely picture of an asteroid, just in case you weren't sure. Its like Science for 5 year olds.

I like Dirk, btw. He's well past it now though.
