Sod all this depression over players leaving. We all support a great club with a huge future. We have a proven top manager with £100m to spend, a thriving academy full of future stars so lets look forward not back. This coming season will be the best yet. Onwards and upwards! COYR!
Meh. Maybe it's because I've just got to work on a Sunday, but I'm finding it hard to be enthused about next season after all this. A few good signings will change that, so I'll just wait and see what we do. The board lied to us before, so we can't guarantee that they will spend now.
Sorry but I don't share your optimism I think the coming months will be exciting with numerous comings and goings but I have lost faith in our owner and the board and feel we can take anything that they say public ally with a pinch of salt. Talk is very cheap but actions...well it's been said many times before! I am prepared for a relegation battle and possible Championship next season
Can't you take your negative talk to one of the 10 other negative talking threads. This is the reason to be cheerful thread. Reason to be cheerful... We have no debt at all.
Lets hope it call comes together and we can sing along like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHPOzQzk9Qo&feature=player_detailpage#t=145
Talk of relegation is bed wetting of a most profound degree, however this lacks true conspiracy theory punch that would take it to the next level. 4 stars.
Reasons to be cheerful; The world cup is still on. Looking forward to Mexico vs Holland tonight. Argentina are still in it, & I have money on them. Saints have a ****ing legend as manager. I've paid for my season ticket. Gaston Ramirez is one of the best passers in the game. A midfield containing him, wanyama, cork, Davis and JWP could be formidable. There seems to be no end to the conveyor belt of talent rolling out of the academy. No one can take away those back to back promotions Or Letiss' goals Or Bobby Stokes' goal at Wembley. History is important. It never really dies. Saints will still exist 100 years from now. Of that I am certain. The sun is shining.
As has just been said on the Ron thread why would he have come to Saints if he couldnt see huge potential. He would have known who was leaving and he wouldnt have been short of job offers.
He might also have a good idea who is coming in. The biggest reasons to be cheerful have yet to revealed. When you're ready, Les...... No hurry
Reasons to be cheerful: I am a Saints fan and we are a club in demand again. We are most definitely back boys!!!! Ps. DL and OS - have the Board really lied to us?
Good man lamb - you are always positive ! Whats happening now is a bit disappointing but no more to me - sod all when i think of all the other heartache ive had as a Saints fan over the years. Onwards & upwards we go.
