Sanchez will end up at Arsenal, I have a gut feeling for some reason. We **** around too much over price etc. and will be pipped by another club. We need to get in quick using Suarez as a weapon.....(not literally) EDIT: I bet that Xavi Torres was one hell of a player in his day
I'd personally value him at 30mil+ already. He's 25, he will get better - but he's already world class. I'll be pissed off if another PL team come in and get him because this is the calibre we need for next season. If we decided to buy Lallana instead, we're mental. Buy both and we're genius.
I agree, mate. Some already rumours here that Sanchez is going to Arsenal. Great Signing for them, if true, but I'd be annoyed. If Suarez goes Sanchez is the most similar replacement who wouldn't cost £50m+ (and even then I'm struggling to think of one. As our play is very much geared to Luis' style of play then that is quite important.
Exactly if Suarez goes, for me Sanchez is an ideal replacement. He may not be an out and out striker, but he's absolute class. So if we (for example) got Sanchez and 40mil. We'd have a world class player and and extra 40mil to buy an out and out striker - or settle for what attacking threats we have (which would be good enough with Sanchez) and spend 40mil on the defensive side of our squad. But we'll end up negotiating for too long and lose the deal to Arseanal - These deals for top players need to be wrapped up quick, **** all this messing around for an extra 1-5 mil off the price. Just buy the ****er for what he's worth, or what thay want. With CL coming up we need these type of players FFS and you know we'll end up flappping around and end up with the left overs
if it is still an issue, we also need to be more realistic with our wages we offer as well. (well in the sense of the going rate, you know what i mean lol) i reckon that's the biggest issue for a lot of players, even though they don't have the balls to admit it is. arsenal seem to have cash to spend, wonder how much of that is more towards enticing them with decent wages?

Too much jumping to conclusions here for me. Just because we don't know what's going on doesn't mean nothing is going on. There are many reasons why we may not get our targets (most of which are only targets in the minds of the press and/or fans anyway), it's not necessarily because we dither too much. We lost out on several players in recent years because we simply weren't attractive enough to them. It's different now, good football, 2nd in the PL, straight into CL group stage, a bit more money to spend and Goofy as bargaining power (assuming we're going to ditch him), so we should do better. Wait and see, no need to go crying before we're hurt.

I would like to keep Lucas as a squad player and Ilori as he has potential, the rest of them we can sell to accomodate incoming players salaries. Probably add Suarez to that list now as well. Think if we sell Agger & Kelly we will need to buy for the defence. Perhaps Lovren. We will have Wisdom back as well. Thoughts? Would you keep any of the 14 if so who and why?
Would keep Ilori. Can only assume his would be another loan? Agger I'm undecided. Anything stounf £10m and I'd prob accept it but would hope we reinvest. Think Toure can be added to that lost as well.
i thought alberto was only a loan? cissokho and moses are obvious, not sure why they need to list loan players we just return. only one i would be bothered by is Llori as we paid money for him that could have been better spent on the squad last season not future, so dont believe that for one minute. rest, take it or leave it to be honest and as ibwt said add Toure to the list.
