**** me what a strike. To hit it like that on the turn, amazing.

It's annoying seeing Uruguay though and thinking they effectively knocked us out. How did we lose to this lot?

This Columbian team will really test Brazil in the next round. I think they're the next level to Chile.

Do you seriously think we're any better?

    Last 2 Workd Cups;

    Played 7

    Won 1
    Drawn 3
    Lost 3

We've only beaten the mighty Slovenia and drawn with the equally impressive USA, Algeria and Costs Rica.

    Let it go son.

We went out at the stage our world status deserves.

I reckon Chile would have made the SF if they'd have beaten Brazil. I don't think this Colombian team is as good. We'll see when they play Brazil !

    My forecast for the Semis
    Brazil v Germany
    Mexico v Argentina

Colombia look really good but they haven't played anyone half decent yet. Be interesting to see how they fare against a side like Brazil. They haven't had the hype that the likes of Chile and Costa Rica have had as underdogs, but they've looked better from what I can see.

I think Columbia are a bit more clinical and have a couple more flair players.

My tips for the Semi Finals before the tournament was Brazil vs Germany and Argentina vs Spain. I think it'll be Holland instead of Spain.

Yamez goes loopy and sulks if his name is pronounced James (the English way)

imagine what Woodgate would have made of by the Brazilian pronunciation ,
something like ooojigatchey is how the Brazilian commentary said his name

It's actually Old French, meaning it originates from Latin. That makes 'Yamez' the correct pronunciation.
