    Nonsense. I doubt for a minute he believed he'd handballed it. Even if he did have a slight doubt as to it's validity, what did you want him to do? Stop playing. He was very unlucky there - it was sort of side-boob vs arm.

    May not doesn't mean not. At the end of the day it was cheating. Cheating deserves a booking. If he had owned up straight away he would not have been booked.

    I don't expect him to own up, no one would. He played on and risked the booking. On another day that would have been a goal and everyone would be calling it handball and hulk a cheat.

    He wasn't cheating - he tried to, and likely thought he had, and even did (as much side boob as arm) chest the ball.
