Today I received a season pass renewal reminder via email. At the top it states Hull City and at the bottom where the full address is it also states Hull City.

I assume those that have renewed have not received this email and has only been sent to those that have not renewed.

Presumably it's the clubs futile attempt to entice those that have not renewed due to the name change debacle. The best way would be to make a clear statement of intention to cease any 'rebranding' of the club.

Sadly, I am sure future emails will be back to Hull City Tigers as it has been for the last year or so.

Makes you wonder how many have not renewed?

With two days to go to secure your regular seat, we've so far sold 11,600 season tickets.

Following our best ever season, that's incredible.

I think some people are confused which club they are renewing for.

I received my notification minus the name of the team it was for.

I'm not even renewing this season.

More for financial reasons than anything else. I'll probably get one next season.

I got the same e-mail, about two hours after we had renewed. I did wonder why it so blatantly said Hull City at the top, perhaps there are ongoing witch hunts at the KC to find the person who has hacked the system.

There is five of us that have not renewed. Not because of prices or seat moves. All because of the pathetic name change nonsense that surrounded last season and looks likely to cast a shadow over next season.

Not sure if I want to be a part of it to be honest.

    That is my other reason.

I don't think I would've been getting one with or without Allam being a prick.

I just hope that if the figure OLM is stating are correct that this might make the Allams rethink their name chance fixation, though I doubt it. As I think the numbers stated for entrance money is only 7% of income are correct, then maybe they see it as not significant enough to give up this stupid idea that changing the name is going to substantially increase revenue.

Isn't it 2 days to go to pay by direct debit? I thought the cut off to renew your seat was the 25th of July. Nearly a month to go.

Reading this helped me join a few things up. The club obviously expects sales to be down. The name/badge issue will have helped them achieve their goal of keeping any dissenting voices out of the ground. Factor in the new prices for season cards and for high profile games at £50 a ticket and it starts to balance out. Its not the number of tickets that the club will worry about...the revenue is their interest. Whenyou look at all the details, they've managed to get rid of a lot of their more vocal opposition within the support without losing the money in sales.

On the renewal form it says "I am aware I must return this form by 01.07.2014 to retain my current seat".

Well I was told i couldn't move seats in the East stand until after the 25th when they would know which seats hadn't been taken up from last year.

No ones going to stop me going to watch HULL CITY.

And we are still HULL CITY what ever it says on an Email, or a shirt badge

    I'm CITY TILL I DIE.

Fingers crossed by August 16th our pass sales will increase ..

Course I do understand not everyone has the extra cash

I think any non-renewals are nothing to do with the name-change issue, which seems so important to the internet warriors and chat-board ego-trippers. It is simply to do with the value of a pass when 60% of the home games in the premiership have little value in terms of true matchday entertainment. This year, I am definately not renewing (honest!), and I plan to choose the important and entertaining games to pay on the day instead. I'll leave the 30:70 possession low value entertainment games against the financial pigs for those who take joy in telling their mates they've seen Stevie G, et.al.

We only have 20 games that matter home and away, so it's worth saving the £600 or so to put towards these. And for the real fans, there will be plenty of space for these games against Palace, Stoke, etc. I think that I will maybe do a Latvia or Luxembourg if the opportunity arises, but contrary to the CTWD spin, your average non-renewer's feelings are more to do with the reality of the premiership than being called Melton Tigers, East Yorkshire City or any other derivative that seems so nasty to the noisey minority.

See you all at Church Road with the rest of the (ex) Hull City fans next season.

PS. To all those supposedly in the know, and any other CTWD aspirant football club directors, has there been any announcement about who the opposition will be for City Reserves next season?

Bollocks as we've become accustomed to now.

But why do so many people try to pretend a lot of other people share their view? I see loads of this on the board. Mussie's the only person I've ever come across with such a massive hatred of the PL and all evidence shows that actually more people come for the PL, yet he's desperate to project his stance onto imaginary other people who don't post on here. It's like that Pearson Park guy and his hundreds of mates who all want to change the name, but don't go on the Internet or go to games.
