He'll be talking to Brazil's Chelsea players using their nicknames, and generally bottling any big decisions in favour of the home team
Yeah, knockout stage. This is where the fun really begins. Getting through yesterday with no footy was unbearable C'mon Chile, give us an upset.
Phil Mccunty is furious RVP's goal isn't being jizzed over more: "A Brazilian breakfast TV sports programme has just run through its goals of the World Cup so far. They have rated Tim Cahill's 'Van Basten' volley for Australia against the Netherlands ahead of Robin van Persie's flying header for the Dutch in their 5-1 thrashing of Spain. Do you agree with that?"
Yes. Van Persie's goal was superb, no doubt -- reminds me of one of Larsson's in Euro's(?) -- but Cahill's was immense. So, yes, I agree.
Pundits falling over themselves predicting Brazil v Germany and Argentina v Holland in the semis. I have my crystal ball out and can see France knocking out Germany in the QFs and then shattering the lives of millions in Brazil in the semis. And in the final beating Argentina in one of the few turgid games of the tournament 1-0. What a way to celebrate on the eve of the 225th anniversary of the storming of the Bastille!!! We don't want the professional pundits to be entirely right. They've got to get something wrong. What are your thoughts?
I thought this was the preserve of octopus, donkeys, hens, hippos. Now Webb has joined this circus. Very interesting!!!
