I wouldn't say he is nowhere near as rich, most of his money is offshore and they say that nobody knows how much he has.
What I'm saying is he should still have enough to get a couple of decent players as he has got more than most in this division. Ok he can't tempt the Donny board but should be able to tempt the boards of other clubs to release players to you. It may be the way I try to explain things that is confusing. lol

Spike, I totally agree. TBH i think we should bid £700k for Coppinger and that would be a more realistic price. Unlike you i have not seen enough of him to know his value but with his goals/assists he must be worth at least that!!
WCP As the saying goes 'Theres no smoke without fire' and i'm pretty sure that the linked players were on PJ's radar. We know Coppinger was for sure and there were too many strong rumours about Cresswell and Sledger for it to be untrue. I have faith in PJ but not Clegg!!

I don't think they would sell Copps if you offered a million. They don't want to sell him and Copps has said he wants to stay with Donny for the rest of his playing career so would he go to you if an offer was accepted. He was our player of the season and to get that with the likes of Billy Sharp in the team it should give you an idea how good he is, he gives a lot more than just the goals and assists.

The Chopra and Ingimarsson signings were good but we have missed out on so much more!!!
