Yeah both very good players, Sky. I'd have both if we could afford it I think the only way we'll get Sanchez now is if we sell Suarez at some point in the future. And apparently Man Utd have been linked with Vidal fairly recently.

Thought it was Utd, but you're probably right. He's a great player and probably the sort of player that Arsenal (and Utd) are missing, but £40m is a lot. Probably worth it, though.
I saw the Utd rumours, but then I'm sure both him and Kroos came out and said they wanted a team that's playing CL if they were to consider a move. On the gossip coulum on the BBC today it links both Arsenal and Utd with Vidal. To be honest he is what both clubs badly need, a true box to box midfielder. Arsenal have too many attacking midfielders, and Utd - well don't really have a midfield as of yet. Unless the Herrrara (sp?) deal has gone through? I wouldn't be overly excited about him anyway if I were a Utd fan, for the price I think they've had their pants pulled down!
We got Sakho instead after deciding against Papa. Sakho and Papa are different in style to Alderweirald, we Rodgers may want some thing different. I say give Ilori a go.
If we plan to get rid, be vindictive...the irony of him wanting to leave last year for champions league and fifa then us make him watch us in it then sell. Same as last year...sell for the figure we want to sell at or might as well keep him.
Sanchez looked good against Brazil tonight. If we do sell Suarez to Barca he would not be a bad replacement and we would still have cash for a decent left back. Then Flanno at RB and Johnson as back up if we get desperate, and I mean really b****y desperate!
Its one of the biggest mysteries in football. Why is Glen Johnson still considered 'good' by people working in football. Managers, coaches, pundits etc all pick Johnson for starting RB (starting for England and Liverpool). He was decent a few years back, never been good, in the past few years I wouldn't even say he's been championship level. I just hope this great football delusion carries on long enough for someone to take the ****er off us at some point.
