Yeah, a week or so back. Not sure you were commenting, but someone listed a few songs they felt were better than the originals; that got thrown in. Personally, I said it was close, but not quite there.

Dexy's as in midnight runners? Loved them. Kate Bush was odd, but a certain alluring nature to her.

Dexy's are playing tonight at the Roundhouse in Camden. Seeing Kate Bush on the 28th August, which makes me slightly nervous. Never found her attractive though.

The only thing they influenced me to do was change the radio channel, I'm afraid. Just not my taste. Too throw away style music. Too pop-American. Too light. Now say, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, and we're talking the same language.

The early stuff was pretty edgy.

Not necessarily meaning influencing you TSS ;)

Ugh Neil Young. A man I never got to be honest. David Crosby was over recently to do some backing vocals on David Gilmour's album he's recording. Apparently it took a LOT of takes, bless him!

(I think I'm allowed to say that, shhh!)

Oh yeah. Poor old Dave Crosby. Must be having trouble breathing and thinking at the same time these days. Far too much experimenting with mind altering things. Graham Nash is as fit as a flee, because he never did anything but write and sing. His mother would be proud. Stehhen Stills can barely hear anything anymore, and mumbles away. Neil Young is another hail and hearty, if very craggy, though he did all the mind altering drugs as well. These Canadians. Must be all the fresh air. Dries the skin.

Well, if it's 15 years ago, then lusting after Jenna Coleman is very wrong.

You kinda want Guy Garvey to be your friend, don't you?

(Watching Elbow for point of reference).

Leslie Ash on masterchef... very sorry looking and seems to be struggling to walk properly. Anyone know what's wrong with her. She had MRSA a few years back.

Absolutely classic put-it-in-the-Glastonbury-annals set from Elbow. I should be there, I've even got a crew ticket, but for very complicated reasons I won't go into, I can't get there, and it's only 10 miles from my house.

Not feeling very happy at the moment, as you might guess, although seeing Lily Allen dancing cheered me up quite a lot.

You mean Lily Allen's pants, don't you?

That's a shame you've not made it along.

Yeah, basically that if I remember. It properly screwed her up.

That is sad. I can remember her getting things done to her lips that gave her the dreaded trout pout too.
