Haim were good earlier especially the gurning bassist - quite liked Lily Allen

 

lily allen is pretty cool tbf

 

I played there in the 80's, went a few times in the years afterwards too, before it become the commercial monster it is nowadays

Like Haim, Elbow are stupidly drab, find Lily Allen a gobshite like her old man, Blondie are passed it.

I cannot be arsed to carry a drum kit around anymore - hand percussion a lot easier it all fits in the boot of the car and its only one journey each way loading/unloading


btw playing tomorrow night at the Life of Riley if anyone fancies a pint or alternatively at Ashbrook Cricket Club at 5pm (might use a drum kit on that one as its a full band gig)

nice, usually good crack these if you like real ale, if you dont, then its a right **** on to get a pint of lager, parrafin is likely to be found in backhouse park with a set of bogo's and a saucer for pennies
