    I'm adding extra points for these second round matches as well, as it will take mega-predos to get these right, I think it's only fair.

    Same as always, if you select the winning side (no matter how they win, via full-time, extra-time or pens), but get the incorrect score, it's 1 point. 0 points if you select the wrong side and the wrong score, and 3 if you get a perfect score with the right side. HOWEVER, if you select a draw, and the game goes to penalties, you get 1 bonus point for saying it would go to pens, and another 2 if you select the correct side to win on pens, on top of what you accrue for the score. That means if my Greece-Costa Rica result came in perfectly, I could get 6 points. I would get 4 if it was 0-0, went to pens and Costa Rica won, 4 if it ended 1-1/2-2/3-3 etc and Greece won on pens, and 2 if it ended 1-1/2-2/3-3 etc
    and Costa Rica won on pens. The flip-side is that if it is decided in normal time or extra time, you get ZERO points (even if it was 0-0 at full-time and was won in extra-time).

    So, you can change your predos to accommodate this if you want lads <ok>

    No no not at all, I have barely given it a second thought. <whistle>

    Seriously my good lady thinks I have lost the plot. She asked if I had been betting heavily on the games due to my shouting for certain sides and taking an interest in every game <laugh> I tried to explain about the prediction league, she was just looking as if to say "how old are you?"

    Hahahaha I realise it's not explained that well.

    Basically, you pick a winner for second round games, it's business as usual.
    If you reckon there'll be a draw and it'll go to pens, you can get bonus points if that actually happens. The trade off is if a team win before pens, you get zero

    Not sure if I am still in the competition, but my goal is:

    1. To get ONE!! bloody score right (a monkey throwing its **** at numbers randomly would have done better than me)

    2. To beat Lawro (see monkey comment)

    The league table will keep going. Basically, it is necessary anyway for the purposes of the knockout rounds in deciding who has priority on the last resort "full-time"/"extra-time" shizzle.
