As the majority voted against the name change, what point are you trying to prove. You seem hell bent in slating them, based on what facts, none. If the clubs name changes, so does the name of the OSC. But the entity that is the current OSC will close. There simply cannot be an OSC with a different name to the club.
HCOSC will not become HTOSC, but the club will still have an OSC.
Would this board change its name too?

I'm not trying to prove any point at all. I simply asked a question. Either the question, or the fact it's me asking it has hit a nerve with you. You're making the same mistake someone else made by adding your own twist, spin and circular logic to something I posted. It betrays your own sensitivities.

As you mention the vote, I notice you ignore the much derided spin that the OSC put on it. You also kill the argument you seem to be trying to generate from what was, as I said, simply a question. They are not 'just' the OSC. There are many, many groups that could represent. They are the OSC of Hull City AFC, something you described as the daftest thing you've ever seen me post. You now seem to agree with that, and accept they'll be known as Hull Tigers OSC rather than upset the chairman.

You then deciding that's slating them, says more about you and their position than it says about much else.

This board wouldn't change it's name. We're not the ones afraid to voice an opinion and we're not 'official' in the first place. I'd much rather we had an unoffical supporters club that could actually achieve something for 'supporters'.

We've received a confirmation of receipt of the letter, but no response to it yet.

James Mooney was on holiday when we sent it, but he's been back a week now, so we'll follow it up with a reminder. There's also a second letter going in, specifically requesting information on the new badge and why there hasn't been the fan consultation that was promised.

I sent three e-mails requesting information on name change intent, and potential refund of season ticket and got no reply whatsoever. I have this morning rang "HullCityTigers" and the very nice lady who answered told me they have indeed received my e-mails and they have been forwarded to James Mooney along with the "many others" asking the same questions.
Apparently he is only back from his holidays today.

I will also send him a mail asking,
For clarification on the name that is to be used on the team kit.
Season pass reimbursement for those who paid to support their team under the official FA endorsed name ,if they disagree with any future name change silliness and want their money back.
And why wasn’t the people who were forcefully removed from e1,2 &3 given the option of choosing other seats that become available on a priority bases other than the ones that were dictated to them.

It certainly is, we're chasing this up now, we're still waiting for the dodgy dossier on the ballot too.

After a lot of thought and bite the bullet and renewed.

No way am I letting some egotistic lying bully stop me from supporting my team.

Please... The badge has changed but it is still our team and the name remains.

    I have renewed mine.

We can ask questions but demanding a return of the season ticket is a bit melodramatic in my opinion. A changed badge is hardly the end of the world no matter what it indicates.
Smacks a bit if some fake anger and making a point. It's not like this was not on the agenda, irrespective of consultation.

I am more annoyed at the increase.

It's the issue of the club's intentions regarding changing the name that's far more significant that the issue of the badge.

I sent five e-mails to James Mooney asking whether a new name change application is to be submitted next season, and an assurance that should one be made I could have a pro rata refund on my passes. He finally replied last Tuesday, apologising for the delay in replying and inviting me for a coffee! I asked for a date/time but he didn't reply until I emailed again Thursday telling him I wanted to renew passes today so would appreciate an answer to my questions.
He says the decision is for the owners and so cannot say whether a new application will be made or not. He assures me I will be given a pro rata refund if a new application means I fall out of love with the club. He also invited me again for a coffee, but my second request for a date/time has not been answered.
I have today renewed my passes. I assured Mr. Mooney that I will definitely return them should a new application be made. I can't imagine anyone at the club losing any sleep over it.

No, I will probably take my own if I ever actually get to go. I would also look carefully at the room number, if its 101 I'm out of there!

CTWD made a big mistake in not opposing the seat move. I'm told it was a single issue movement, but there's been a vote since then to move it on.

The people not renewing would tend to be anti-name change. Even the ones renewing but in protest feel disenfranchised from the club and CTWD. Any future vote is now swaying towards supporting a name change.

I know of a few people that have gone in to meet the marketing manager, but I know of more that didn't even get a reply. This fans group, sounds more like lip service and a tick box to the Premier League than a serious attempt to get the opinion of supporters.

Listening to people as they renewed, most were suggesting they're wanting to move out of the north as soon as they can. This issue isn't just going to go away.

Had the Club not been so arrogant, naive and ill-informed, they would have saved time money, face and reputation by having a discussion period before implementing it, as Sunderland did before moving away fans to their upper tier.

The Club desperately needs decent a PR and a decent Marketing Team, or at least someone to take charge of the existing teams that has a clue about the Club and fans.

CTWD have just concluded the supporters trust vote and are meeting next week to decide the broader issues at the club that they now wish to address. The seat move, disabled ticket prices/ticket prices generally and various other things will all be on the agenda.

As will increased benefits for members, such as events and travel to Europa League games, we even hope that membership of CTWD will get you discounts from local retailers in future.
