Lallana for £15mill... good deal.
Lallana for £20mill... this is stretching it a little and adding "those few million extra".
Lallana for £25mill... this is silliness and having no plan 'B' for the position so paying way over the odds on the only target.

If Southampton aren't willing to budge on a fair price- that's their right... they don't have to sell! No reason to offer silly money when there are other, better, players available for the fee we're now talking.

I'd rather get the Shaq, or Sanch- but now we probably can't because we spent big money on a squad player.



It's not even a Lambert situation... where, not the player we really wanted... but for the price was a squad player. We're paying a marquee fee for someone who will be used on rotation.

you are right... our midfield 3 needs this but the fee is the issue so its LFC not the player that deserve a lashing.

We got our man that BR wanted. Last Summer I was very much if BR wants him, I trust him but thats now at 70% which is more than 50% still
