Call me radical, but I'm actually quite excited to see who we bring in as it was fairly obvious this was happening, so nothing really to "get over".

I'm up for this (disclaimer: if it's Pelle and Immers, less so).

I'm just hoping that's a kneejerk reaction from bookies.

Guys.....players are sold all the time.....Even united have sold also Arsenal amongst others, have sold their best players if the price is right for the club!!
Looks like Liverpool will be selling Suarez, which to do that will mean a big bite out of someone's wallet.........
The real point is if the money's right every club is likely to sell......

You guys must know a lot of footballers to be knowing how they are and how they will think and react.

The only way I would be excited if Pelle and Immers joined is Joe's reaction. :D

Surely we're not going to sell him in addition to Lovren. I mean, at that point I don't care how well-intentioned the board are, selling 5 (or more...) of our 7 or 8 best players from a year ago is a cataclysmic f**k-up.

Oh ****ing hell, I thought at least his injury would prevent him being sold.

If it gets to about 1/2 etc you know something is happening.

Can't see JRod going. The club is investing a massive amount of time and effort in his recovery and he has said he's looking forward to working with Koeman. What kind of ungrateful toe rag would ask for a move after that? Don't answer that.

Lovren needs to go unless he some how becomes less of a twat. But I want Rodriguez to stay.

There's no way any Premier League club will sign a player who currently has a ligament injury. Let alone the fact he can't play until near Christmas.

Sorry Fran. Pochettino and Jay were very close and there's good reason to believe they had many "chats" before he officially left for Spurs.

At some point we're going to need to keep a player who is being something of a twat, otherwise we're simply sending the message that you can get a move easily if you just behave badly.

As was said above, all of the players you have mentioned have been big one-off transfers for said clubs.

We have done the opposite, which is sell all our players of value at once. A few weeks ago, I stood by someone else saying actions speak louder than words. Until we sign some quality players, the actions of the club all point to football policy that has shifted from ambitiously punching above our weight, to happily selling any good players.
I am glad that all of you will gladly accept saints becoming a mediocre/poor side again with a smile on your face, but until I see some positives then I will remain disappointed and concerned.

Why do we think Lovren is behaving like a twat? He put in a rumoured transfer request right after MP left. I don't see any example of twattishness since that point at all?
