depressing news if true, but don't surprise me. i hope we are not going back to 1 step forward 2 back type thing at this club.
Can't see it now. So far, we have an output of: Lallana - £25m Lambert ~ £5 Emre Can ~ £10 So that is £40m of a reputed £60m available. Leaving us £20m for Sanchez, Shaqiri, plus a LB and some CBs. Not going to get another 'marquee' signing methinks. Unless of course we sell 'him'.
if that story is true about sanchez and juve, wondering what barca would have to say on it if we want to include him in a deal for luis and nothing else. i reckon its probably our **** pay structure personally, these poor peasant footballers now days, all fecking slaves i tell you. (to their ****ing bank managers )
If Lallana deal is going ahead, this could be the end for my beloved Lucas. With Gerrard/ Can/ Hendo/ Lallana/ Couts/ Allen/ Sterling? vying for 3 midfield places, a injury-wrecked Lucas is probably surplus to requirements.
When we don't sign someone people whinge we should have just paid the extra few million what does it matter. When we pay the extra few million people whinge we should have used the money to buy someone better value. Anyway, good player, suits our style of play, should adapt quicky. Lallana played every game last season and got 9 goals. Only Gerrard and Yaya had a bigger impact in midfield. We already own one of those two and the other might still be up for a move. So get a grip FFS. 8 of the top 16 players last season are now LFC players.
be ok just change your name to lucas talking no more i reckon him and agger, reina, coates were all gonnas any way, even before this signing, but it don't look good now.
BBC Salford had front page "Breaking News" banner headlines for Shaw on his way to man yoo and Herrera to man yoo , wonder if Lallana will get the same dramatic reaction.
"Breaking News" Liverpool don't sign Lallana. Liverpool reject an over inflated price for England international failure. Instead decide to spend the ridiculous fee Southampton wanted on a player worth the money' Here's hoping
prob in fairness different peeps in each case i don't rate him at 25 million... that is all. i have consistently defended lfc not over spending... eg that no name who went to cheslea and that othe rno name that flirted with spurs then went to Chelsea
Hope he'll be good for us but £25M is the kind of money you'd expect to pay for a top player. Can't help but feel it could've been better spent elsewhere, but maybe those big name players just weren't interested in joining, especially with our funky wage structure thing still going on.
Lal-****king-lana for twenty-bloody-five million??? Jebus ****ing christo!!! Do we not want success or something
Can one of you please get in contact with Rodgers and tell him there are better players to spend £25million on!
I think Rodges is purely focused on Lallana, and not that the bigger players don't want to join. I still expect some big signings this summer.
