    Hi everyone,

    I find it frustrating we can't keep this team together but I think it's good to remember Reed's interview - he said there were succession plans for if players leave - Kolo for Shaw and ? for Lallana.

    Hopefully these plans will be enacted quickly. From our POV there's no point hanging around in selling those that can't be convinced to stay. That way we can hopefully sign replacements quickly and they can have as big a part in pre-season as possible.

    That is good to hear. I really hope Morgan stays, not saying he wants out or anything like that (although he did say something about Europe one day didn't he?) but I expect bids will come in for him, if they haven't already.

    It's all going to look a lot better once we start getting players in.

    It's gonna take a long while for players to gel.

    We did so well last season with a fluid front 3 of J-Rod, Sir Rickie and Adam, and we won't have any of them for the start of next season. Not to mention a back four and centre back pairing that won't have played together before.

    At this point it's not an overreaction for me to say I will be amazed if we finish anywhere near the top half.

    Not a bad shout.

    I can see us slipping back into that pack that finished just below us - the west ham/stoke brigade.

    11th-15th would be my guess! With luck, some of the youngsters will come through and propel us up again in a year or two. Then we can sell them and continue the cycle .
